Green vs Red lights

All I know is green is easier for my eyes to adjust to at night. As far as predator hunting idk. I just bought the wicked hunting light 403IC in red, going hunting with it this weekend.
 
I think it's a preference or what you are confident with. I believe that coyotes see both lights but it is all about establishing that light so that they are comfortable and not making any sudden movements. I like red because to me it is a softer light and easier on my eyes as far as adjusting to the darkness and it lights the eyes up from a good distance.
 
I have gone with Green. As Bigslam said, its suppose to be better for the eyes and quicker to pick up.
