Groundhogs with your bow...anyone?

Just wondering if anyone else here chases those little pigs with your bow. We usually go out in the fields through out the summer to get a few and to pass time and stay fresh till deer season. However, my buddy has a problem with them at his house in city limits. So can't fire a gun so what better way to get them...lol

That is pretty cool.

I haven't gone out with the bow to strictly hunt them but it might not be a bad idea to keep the shooting dust from settling.

I have been known to clock a couple sitting in in my tree stand while the action is slow

Most definitely...can't pass up the opportunity to whack one from the tree. Well, unless it's during the rut and a doe is walking by...lol

That's very true

That's about the only reason I could find for not crackin one lol. They make some nice yote bait too lol.

Shooting them with a bow is cool Dale, but up north, you would rarely get close enough and the when hunting permission is on the line and numbers count, its time to break out the AR 15 and get to killing. Got 21 this year, which isn't bad over 3 weekends.

I have 3 hanging around my house and I cant get the timing right to get em.....Its irritating the hell out of me..

Got one at my in-laws house that keeps giving me the slip. Barely missed it at 65 yards a few weeks ago.
