Grunting To Stop A Buck

I just lightly whisper "hey bitch", works every time!!







Really I've stopped only 5-6 deer with a grunt or maaaa.... I prefer that they stop on their own. No need to alert them to my presence.

Last ML season I did grunt stop a nice buck at 75-80 yards. Shot the WIDE F'ING OPEN SHOT and he took off without a hole in him... Still burns my ass!!

Jumped a few deer today getting the trail cam pictures, wish I would have used "hey bitch" to stop them for a better look lol
 
I have never made a sound to stop a deer. I let them stop or have lead them as they walked. I don't want an alert deer to deal with. Their reaction time is fast enough but you put them on the alert and you have an entirely new animal on your hands IMO.
 
I do not make a sound if I dont have TOO, but will make a mmaaaaa sound if the deer wont stop. I think on the shows they just do that to get the buck to look at the camera for the money shot.
 
I have never made a noise to stop a deer, I usually wait on them to stop on their own or the same as Adam just lead them as they walk. I have thought about doing it before but the picture of them coming unglued when I do it always stops me! lol, thats the way my luck goes
