Hand gunning for ground pigs...

I have been keeping a eye on my place since the thread started..Never thought of shooting some with my Glock23,but it sounds fun and challenging...

Sure wish we had groundhogs down here...

Damn man. Washington county really does sound like a sportsmans Hell . The deer are about wiped out , Turkey are hard to come by , waterfowl hunting is mediocre, and coyote killed the groundhog out...and probably rabbits to . If its that bad I'd be packing my family and moving somewhere with some critters.

It's still home, so I ain't going anywhere. But yes, the rabbits are few and far between these days TOO. Ask around, I'm not Chicken Little'n it. The deer population has been on a steady decline, turkeys are actually plentiful, waterfowl is decent if all you want to kill is geese, and we don't have groundhogs or rabbits in near the numbers we had a decade ago.
