Hoping for the best. I've never had two temp probes that are exact .....

The wife wanted two turkeys. One for the smoker & the other I THOUGHT for the oven, so I bought a 20 lber. Turns out she was wanting the other for my rotisserie. Too big, so the oven it was....at the last moment .....

The wife and I spent a nice quite day (so far) with just the two of us. No kids this year. It’s a first for both of us since we’ve had kids. Things went smoothly, no drama, no high strung reactions from anyone. Is this how the other half lives?
I do miss my kids, as well as my grandson. But a nice laid back day was what the Dr ordered.
We found a year old unbaked apple pie in the freezer, as well as a 3-4 year old turkey, which we spatchcocked and it turned out great (we’re 3 for 3 on that method) with plenty of leftovers as well as the carcass for turkey soup! The pie turned out just as good also…..
Now it’s time for a cigar and another beer! Enjoy your day folks….

Air fryer boneless turkey breast. VERY JUICY.

Baked boneless turkey breast. Also very juicy.

I think it’s a touch too salty, probably went too heavy on the seasoning before it hit the smoke
