I am currently watching the Kodiak bear hunt. This is a very well put together show on the discovery channel. It isnt geared towards hunters at all. It is about the true conservation of the animals. I really enjoy the angle they have taken on the subject. Because it is about the hard truths of what nature does. They even showed how a younger bear was killed and eaten by another bear. I have a feeling I am going to find the rest of these shows and binge watch as the snow falls today. High quality show so far and I had to share.

I also need to give them props for giving the regulations briefing when buying the tags. Alaska is great about it and also very strict. They leave alot on the hunter for responsibility. Love the rules of checking in daily for changes and if you draw blood, thats it, that is your tag for the season. Other states could take good notes on how to actually manage for the animals, not profits. I look forward to learning more from this show about other places.

On 3rd show now and this is going to be an outstanding way to avoid the superbowl BS today! Lol

The first episode gave some great information about how burns can help control ticks. And how they use that to help the moose and wildlife from ticks.

Bison herd grew from 1,000 to almost 500,000 today. The mind blowing fact is that 400,000 of them today are privately owned!
