This is why you'll never see a increase out of state resident licenses. This will continue to get worse, as more and more state land hunter become frustrated. I would like to see all of this data and graphs applied to Kentucky, I bet they will follow a similar pattern as Ohio only about 10 or 20 years behind.

I lost my Ohio deer harvest chart that went back to the 1940's. Can anyone find it? I've searched the internet but can't locate it. I also believe I posted it on TOO couple years back.

I took my 1st Ohio deer in 1972 and less than 5100 was taken in the whole state that year. I seen my 1st deer in Putnam County in 1961 and the state deer season was closed that year. The local Ottawa newspaper put the deer sighting in the newspaper. And just think I was even mentioned in that news story 'buck deer jumped across road in front of school bus'. LOL
