Has anyone heard the lowdown on this monster

I've heard two conflicting stories of this deer. Two diff. locations and two diff. ways it died. Does anyone know for certain the TRUE story. Just had this one pic sent to me several weeks ago and I'm just now getting around to posting it.

Looks like a road kill to me. No tag and they are next to a highway. The dude in the pic kinda has that: "Let's hurry and get the fugg outta here" look his face!!! :smiley_crazy:
