Have you checked your ocular focus lately

J I look through my scope every day to check the clarity and check for obstructions.... Wish I could use binos... Wearing glasses I see a pin hole when looking through them... If I take the glasses off the field of view increases... My Son got me a nice pair of Vortex that basically stay in my pack ....

Pulled out the .22 the other day to send a few rounds towards the backstop. When I looked through the scope, the crosshairs weren’t as clear as they used to be. Shot a few rounds before adjusting and then adjusted and shot a couple more.
They tightened up after the adjustment. Now I’ve got to go through the rest of my rifles to check them.

The nikon ones I buy have a retractable eye ring. Screwed in is for wearing glasses, screwed out is for direct contact with the face.
