Heated Clothing

Now with the lithium batteries there are all kinds of heated clothing. Socks, pants, coats, hats, gloves etc. I know years ago I had heated socks but the batteries would cost you a fortune and you couldn't control the heat. Now with rechargeable batteries it is alot more appetizing. Plus as I get older, I get colder easier.

Anyone use any of this stuff? Any recommendations.

My buddy has the Milwaukee vest and stuff. He loves it!! I haven’t yet tried anything but I’m interested.

I'll check the knockoff I got from Amazon and post later. It didn't cost a whole lot and it will last for about 4-6 hours on low. That's a whole lot longer than I can last in the blind in January. It works but the one I have adds a ton of bulk and needs a layer under it and over it to eliminate the swishy sound. I bet there are less bulky models, but it extends the time I can stay in the field when it's less than 25 degrees.

I have some knock off heated socks from Amazon. Love em for very cold days. Rechargeable batteries. Feet never get hot, but never get cold either. No idea on the brand

I have an Arris heated fleece vest. Has 3 zones and each zone has it's own temperature setting so you can have the ability to adjust as you need to each zone.

I also have a pair of wool socks that take a rechargeable battery pack. The 3 levels of temperature are controlled on the battery pack. They work great. With the boots I wear in late season not enough air gets inside the boot and with hot toes they won't work without air to keep them activated.

Both items have definitely extended my hunting time when it gets cold. Also helps when your out clearing snow from walks and driveways.

My wife and I got heated coats for Christmas. I must say this thing is wonderful. Game changer for mobility vs the bulk traditional gear I used to wear. Id take this thing over a Carhartt any day without it battery heat. I wear it alone with a sweatshirt while working in these temps and it's all I need even in the wind. I wore it hunting late gun seasons under my bibs or coveralls, I'm sold on it. I would have never purchased something like this but now I have one I won't shy away from getting additional gear like it in the future. My wife says it's been a game changer for standing out in the parking lot everyday for kids drop off at her school. She keeps hers on high everyday, Its way to much if your moving I think but sitting in a tree it keeps a person from getting down early.

I have that same brand but a different jacket. If you spend time outdoors for prolonged periods, this stuff is awesome!
