My son just sent me this, his grandfather shot a good one earlier and that just went to track. IMO doesn’t look like a good hit, what do you guys see?

Looks to me like lung and liver.

Got a pic of the bolt/arrow? Any gut on it? Bubbles?

Looks a like like liver and maybe 1 lung. The last 1 i hit in the live i backed out for about 14 hours and he still needed another arrow

They couldn’t find the bolt, he said he jumped him about 100 yards from shot. I advised them to back out and wait until morning.

If they can, I'd recommend they get a dog to help track.

Looks like it'll die. Blood is a little dark so I would agree with liver. Seen some chunks laying there too. Could be fat?
