masonry lintels grouted solid, the red is 3/4in rebar.

Loud as fuck dusty and heavy lol. No hearing protection. He will pay for that later in life.
I have ear plugs in. Ive run saws for 20 years day in day out trying my best to always wear hearing protection. If it's windy as hell I'll still dry cut. In early 2000s employers didn't give to shits about protection. We were dry cutting/ grinding inside schools and commercial buildings with no one saying anything but faster get it done, and everyone on the job sites all trades went with it. What's a young apprentice going to do other than join in if you wanted to keep your job......OSHA ramped up silica laws probably 8 years ago and it's now more enforced but it took 5 years for things to really change.

One of my most hated tools of all power tools! Right up there with a jackhammer 🤣
Most money making cheap durable tool for masonry and concrete contractors. I do go extremely out of my way not to use them though. Big ass jack hammers do suck.

That’s good!!! Back in the 80’s doing masonry I ran a wet saw with no protection and now I’m like what did you say. Safety has come a long way since then.

They are for sure worth the hassle. I just hate them. We have a couole at work and they get used almost daily.
