That's Great Phil. Wait until he get's his first deer. You'll see a level of being Proud you never thought existed.
Something that Diane thought of that was real good: She got out several whitetail calendars (Magazines will work) and let the kids look at deer positions. They would say shoot or don't shoot depending on deer angles. If it was shoot, then they showed her where they would aim with a pencil.

After my granddaughter shot her first deer a few days ago (it wasn't a good shot) she told me that it was hard to know where to shoot on the real deer, because it didn't have a "circle" on it, like the decoy did.

That's why we went to the calendar/pictures and truthfully, both of them impressed me with getting 99% of the pictures/angles/kill zone correct.

Great to hear on both fronts Phil. Horton has been swamped lately, I hope you are happy with the turnaround time.

Even better to hear your boy is putting them on target. Can't wait to see him with a deer!

Sure would have been nice to see it in a week or less. I think 2 weeks is adequate and should be expected this time of the year. I AM satisfied. I was realistic in my expectations. Hoping for a week or less but expecting a bit longer. It is a seasonal thing. Had I sent it in to them in July I am certain it would have been quicker. No different than the local lawn mower repair shops getting swamped in the spring with push mowers that don't start. Drop the push mower off in Feb or Mar for service and it will be ready when the grass is growing. Thank you for looking into this for me Adam. I truly appreciate it.
