Hortontoters 2014 Trail Camera Photos

Was at the cabin yesterday working on my buddies box blind. While there I pulled cards and moved one camera. The construction nearby doesn't seem to have affected the deer TOO much. Had a few photos of Splitter and of the deer I've coined "Junior". I think he has some of Splitters genes in him. I don't think Splitter is going to be as good as he was last season. Not a big difference, but a little smaller. I updated the time and date on the one camera. Cameras should be good for a while so I'll let them soak a while before pulling cards.

Boy I don't know, I think those pics are deceiving for Splitter, he's going to be a dandy this year IMO!! Guess you'll have to shoot him so we can find out once and for all how big he is Dick!!
 
Glad to see he's still coming around Dick. Regardless of his rack size,which is still great BTW, his age is still very impressive. Good luck with him Dick.
 
IMO Dick I think he's at least as big as he was last year with slightly more mass and a hair wider with even more character. He's a friggin dandy!
 
Well it's settled, you need to put him on the ground to figure out if he is as big as he was last year haha, but he doesn't look like he lost much at all IMHO, it might just be that the pic you have now is farther away than the previous one you got?? But he still is a very nice buck, and the Junior looks to be a very nice one as well!
 
Other than the fact he is an awesome deer, i would also say he seems to be at his peek, I'll be rooting for you to kill him this year, before he gets a chance to decline.
