you're throwing in the towel after one trip? dogs have to be socialized to people, other dogs, new places etc. and that takes time and practice. you have to train him how to behave. camping doesn't necessarily come natural to a dog.

There was a build up of things. You guys should know that I'm not one to give up easily. Most of all it is the teenage daughter that had to have him. My work schedule doesn't work for a puppy. I'm out of the house 14-18 hours a day. I like the dog and see plenty of potential in him. It just isn't working and it isn't fair to the dog or anyone involved.
Think we may have posted about the same time.
Anyhow that’s sorta how I was feeling yesterday trying to level off a spot for swimming pool with the wife and kid..
I woke up this morning and they still are both here. Not sure what I’m going to do.
