Looks awesome! Just keep an eye on it that the heat and smoke from the fireplace doesn't damage the heirloom, especially that stock.
For sure, I made a couple larger than usual fires to see what the heat was like and it was hardly noticeable

I’m amazed at the ideas you have for using vintage items and finding a practical use for them in your home. My log cabin is like a tool shed compared to yours. Even the pavers you put outside is different. I’m beyond impressed. Great job!

Mark another thing off the list for the most part, got the master closet organizers installed, only trim and boxing around the return duct left. The wife couldn’t wait.
Got the returned duct boxed, made it a little seat.
we have an infection! Lol only in a log cabin can you get away with hanging up a wasp hive.
