Looking for a used hovercraft, could be a repair job. If u know anyone with an old one give me a hollar. If anyone has parts that could be used for a hovercraft homemade job, I'm interested in that as well.

I am looking for a horizontal shaft and vertical shaft motors, prefer ones with electric starts with 5hp -20hp that would be great. 36”-50”prop for thrust and a wing blade fan for the lift. Steering wheel, maybe a light weight seat, A waterproof canvas that would make a good skirt.
How about Honda motor with electric start? I have a couple phone numbers and websites you can call. 8.5hp Honda work? If not, there are many other options.

That might be a tad heavier than I am looking for......But than again I can use it for both my thrust and lift, getting rid of the other motor.....PM what you want for it and I can compare it to the engines Phil was talking about.
There is a hovercraft club or 2 in Ohio.
They have had races here in Chillicothe on the Scioto for several years but I don't remember it happening this year.
