I'm fairly new to muzzleloading but I have a 3 year old box of triple 7. I'm told this stuff is super sensitive to oils on your hand so I'm thinking any moisture and age might effect them. Thoughts? Use or bite the pellet and buy new?
Cause I'll be in camp Friday night late to hunt Saturday morning.how about loading your gun and finding out by pulling the trigger a few times?
Black powder can become gay?Its hygroscopic, it's up to you if you want to chance it

Put down that crack pipe....I've used this gun for three seasons man!You plan to hunt with a gun you haven't shot? And you are worried about the powder? I'd be more worried about it shooting off. I couldn't imagine going out without shooting it first.![]()
And you don't check zero? Or do you and I'm missing something here? Zero chance I would trust a gun from year to year.Put down that crack pipe....I've used this gun for three seasons man!
It was zeroed when I put it away last year...I trust my judgment. And you don't check zero? Or do you and I'm missing something here? Zero chance I would trust a gun from year to year.
Maybe I am completely weird. Hell. I won't even take my crossbow out without shooting it first. Lol
Yeah, I'll zero my bow each year 1. Cause i don't have to clean it afterwards, 2. i don't have a hard case for it and it can get bumped around In my house. My rifles go right back in my safe from my back seat. I don't bang um around like a blind mans cane.Maybe I am completely weird. Hell. I won't even take my crossbow out without shooting it first. Lol
