How much does your ol lady spend on a haircut?

Our finances are similar to Jesse's situation. My money, her money, our money with different accounts set up for long term common goals. It seems foreign to some who share in one account. It works for us. We don't argue about money. I'm not changing anything. It all comes down to trust. We all pick our battles. Her hair isn't a battle worth fighting.

Unless were talking south of the border!

We do the same thing. Works well for us.

free, she's trying to grow it out hippie style down to her lower back so she tells me where to trim and I cut it off and she dyes her own hair.... and she cuts my hair lol

My wife goes twice a year. About a $ 100.00 bucks a pop...so $ 200.00 annually.

She's ugly anyways....so I spend about $ 60.00 a month on beer....or $ 720.00 annually......to make her look pretty.

Chad look around and add up your taxi bill.lol
I dont know nor care what my wifes hair cuts cost, she doesn't complain about all my hunting crap so i'm sure as hell not gonna complain about her stuff.
But then again my wife would laugh and say bullshit to what your wife paid.lol

We have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. I don't ask her what she spends on such things and I don't tell her what I spend on things like guns.

$50 every 6-8 weeks for a cut and color, but it's her cousin who owns the salon so it could definitely be worse. I have no idea how some places get away with their prices, absolutely insane!

Phil & Jesse's separate buckets is foreign to me. There are times when I would love to be able to buy things without her knowing, but in the end it drives good conversation and it's completely transparent. I never felt that bills should be split equally when pays are not equal.

For another thread, how are you planning long term goals if you neither of you know what is in each others bucket or you operate under a "don't ask, don't tell" strategy?

We don't have separate buckets either. Both of our checks are direct deposited into the same account.

I don't ask or care what she buys or spends on clothes or stuff to make her happy as long as it's recipicated. As long as neither of us goes overboard we'll be just fine!
