Probably not even allowed on the property . I delivered to his place a couple times when I use to cover that route and he showed me around that loft that Creamer posted pics of. Nice clean place with some stud sheds and deer.

Even if I had $21 K I'd definitely pass... I can go hunt elk for that kind of money... Plus wasn't Athens hit hard with EHD... I sent out roughly 125 letters this spring to Ohio land owners offering between $30 and $40 and acre... All small pieces around 50-70 acres and not one response... Guess I don't hunt Ohio this year...

It's a conversation for another thread, and maybe I'll start it up, but my public land experience last year was not good. I have hunted primarily public for about the last 5 years and I have noticed (where I hunt, SE Ohio) a definite increase in hunters and hunters willing to get farther into the bigger pieces of ground. I was walked in on multiple times last year a LONG ways from parking, lots of other hunters on trail cameras, deer sightings down (EHD probably the culprit there), etc... I am trying to approach public a little differently this year in hopes of avoiding some of what I dealt with last year.
