Next year Im planning a trip to hunt in ohio on public land. I would like to hunt southern and central ohio. I wil be bow hunting can anyone tell me what's a good place to go. I know there's a lot of public land up there. thanks

Check out the Wayne National Forest. 80,000 plus acres of great hunting opportunities. That's where I'd go if I was from out of state.

If you're only from KY, I highly suggest picking a few out now and heading up in March or April to scout. AEP offers a lot of public land to hunt as well. You're really not going to see a lot of deer on Public. There are opportunities to harvest the buck of a lifetime on public, but not without scouting and figuring it out. It's not magic like many think…

Good advice thus far. Check out this website. There is a section related to public lands. Welcome to TOO.
