I have looked into the decoys, and those that posted about these are spot on. Once they figure it out, its game over and a waste of money. My neighbor is gone enough on the weekends so I think I can take care of the problem. If these fuggers would stay in HIS yard I wouldn't have a problem. Geese shit at an alarming rate, and it doesn't take many to mess up the water quality in a pond. The previous owner also liked to watch them, completely oblivious to the effects on the pond. My other neighbor, the one that could care less what I do, told me that the pond was stocked twice and both times had massive fish kills in the summer. When we walked the property before we bought it, there was shit EVERWHERE. I had to take a scoop shovel and wire brush to clean the dock off (no power washer). Defecation aside, once the eggs hatch it's hard to get any yard work done with the male chasing the kids and I around. I just need to take care of it before they lay....
Bud...I’ve got a dog that loves to chase. Surely you know someone else with one that lives closer. Fire up the grill or deep frier and let the dog and kids do their thing. Keep the dog for a week or two.
Or, call the pound and see what they have that fits the mold. Who knows, might end up loving having the thing around. Put up a kennel behind that garage...release when needed. Feed and love as needed. Dogs need a job, and this seems perfect.

I couldn't kennel a dog outside, just not my thing. When we do get a dog, it will have its place inside the house. The neighbor that doesn't mind them has two dogs, and they bark the second they get let out and continue until they are let in. @Mike has hunted behind the house and can vouch for their vocalizations. They run the geese off into the tall grass, but the geese come right back as soon as they are let back inside.
