thanks, everyone. this buck is no giant, but I think he makes 135" as a 3 1/2 year old 4x4. picture is not very flattering. yes, first deer I've killed with the bow on my place. my struggle to do so for the last two years was real. have killed several there with the handgun, and a coyote with the bow. aging bowhunter with new "old man" bow gets it done. that is my lucky hat. KOM boonie that I've been wearing for 20+ years. has fooled lots of deer and other critters over the years.
the story is the classic boy finds girl, falls in love, and follows her to his demise. didn't exactly go as scripted, but I'll share it later as I learned something yesterday that is worth sharing.
