I know something

Here’s the story on my buck this morning!
I hunted last night and had a buck (it might have been this one) sneak in as soon as I stepped into the stand. Bow was still on the ground, I just didn’t have enough time to get a shot off. Saw 7 deer and 10 turkeys yesterday evening.
This morning, I watched the turkeys fly down from their roost and the flock made their way in my direction. By about 7:45, they were all underneath me scratching around in the leaves. I hadn’t really been looking for deer as I was watching the turkeys. Then all the sudden at 8am, this buck walks in right through the flock of turkeys directly on at me like 10 yards! The buck totally snuck up on me because I had been hearing the turkeys scratch up the leaves in the same direction! I sneakily grabbed my compound and he had no clue I was 5 yards in front of him. He decided to make the fatal mistake to turn broadside, I drew back as his head went behind the last tree, he stepped in the opening, 5 yards below me, and gave him the “Meeep”, he stopped, the arrow flew, and I connected. He was slightly quartering away and it was a steep shot. Was a lung shot but I did clip the heart as we found out later. @Gern186 helped me track him through the thicket and I spotted a white belly! He’s an 8! I’m pleased for it being my second compound buck!
Got a cool trail cam photo, look close you can see the arrow in him, only seconds after I shot…
