I think it's insane that there are laws against killing them. This country would have never been settled with the way people think these days. Illegal or not, I will kill every one of them I run across. I've found two Eastern Massasauga since we bought our place. They were adorable... I plead the 5th beyond that. BTW, one of them crawled up alongside us while my daughter and I played in her sandbox.

I am pretty sure I saw an episode of the Crocodile Hunter and he was catching timber rattlers in Ohio. It was awhile ago and I am getting older so I may be mistaken......
Yes, I think the same.This pic is from Kentucky. Last week when I went there for a hunting with my team I saw such types of snakes. My team mates taken those pic and frankly speaking those are really horrible. I was really scared because I am a beginner in hunting. But I really enjoyed that moment.

Nope.. I have had her for 6 years now... she was about 3ft long when I got her.. She has bit me once but I killed the rat before taking her out of the tank (feed in seperate container) so I smelled like rat and she struck me.. my fault.. other than that she is just as happy as can be..
