He was ten yards away when he came from the corner of the house. We were siting inside the screen porch.
I'd for sure share this with the ODNR. Coyotes aren't even that brave.

Lol.... my wife was sitting there eating lunch & I was on my phone & I just happened to look up & see him out in the open walking behind a tree. I immediately knew that was something different, so I jumped up gasping. Wife thought I was having a heart attack....lol. I think I was in shock because he had been way out in the open to get where he was.

We have a population explosion at our place in the past year. On my trail cams a lot. What aren’t on my cameras are turkey.

Same thing happened to me last Summer while sitting on the front porch of our cabin playing the radio and sipping on beers. 10 yards away without a care.

Coyotes are big cowards! That's what keeps them alive. I learned that from trapping them for so many years. Very cautious
I did do that. I have no expectations to hear back from them.
