After this last visit to Ohio I'm wanting to move back. My wife is from Sunbury and just about all of our relatives live withing an hour drive. I met up with several old friends and it was nice to catch up on how things have been. I know friendships change, but being around people you know is nice. Property/house prices, and the cost of living isn't horrible either. I can get a job at DCSC, most likely in the same pay grade, in Columbus pretty easy. I work for the Navy managing supply chain for parts on Amphibious platforms. We work closely with DLA and they get their requirements from us. Plus I know a few people... LOL

My wife isn't as enthusiastic as I am, but I'm pretty sure we can work that out. If this did happen it wouldn't be for another two years. Its a nice dream.... We'll see if it actually happens.

Good luck too you and the Mrs, Chuck. We came home back in 88 for raising the kids, we’re empty nest now and trying to iron out a retirement location that we both would like. I’m North Carolina and she’s S Carolina lol.... maybe we’ll buy 2 and we can both have our ways lmao...

Lots more variety of terrain in NC, SC is nice, I would guess you are looking at coast in SC because there is nothing in the middle of the state. You have the upstate area and the coast.

Enjoy South Carolina!
