It's not based on the biggest buck. Anyone who shoots a buck and submits a picture has a chance to win it. They just throw everyone's name into a hat and draw the winners. A little fork buck could win the contest. Anything that has some bone on its head has a chance.

Nice! You killed a real stud, but there were a TON of nice deer entered in that contest. I was curious how they chose as well. Given the chance, nobody is passing the deer you shot. However, there were at least half a dozen others I saw in the pictures that you could say the same about. Lots of darn nice deer in there.
