Not much of a story on this little guy. We’ve been down in Lawrence county since Thursday at our annual deer camp. We’ve been seeing deer every day and my buddy’s dad killed last night. I passed on a couple bigger ones than this one but on this particular morning this particular deer felt right. I wasn’t in the stand for 20 minutes before he came back for a 2nd time in 10 minutes so I figured why not
. I tracked him for a bit and backed out til we could all go back after lunch and morning hunts. Of course he died at the bottom of the steepest possible hill lol. I’m super grateful for the time we get to spend down here every year and the memories made. There are very few things I would trade for my time with these guys.
