Just found some time to watch this...you guys knocked it outta the park. Awesome podcast! You guys touched on many subjects and were very articulate in getting your thoughts across. 47 minutes seemed like 5...so I guess I was having fun watching.😂 I just have to figure out how to get it from my phone to my tv in the man cave so I can have a couple drinks while watching. I enjoyed the history of Joes name, along with how you guys explained about how the members of this forum have been there, done that, so any questions about any topic will have someone with expertise in that area who can give you a precise answer on how to proceed. I’m constantly telling my wife about how varied the topics are on this forum. I’m glad Dave told me about this place...but he should’ve done it sooner!😂 Any time frame on the next episode?

Footnote: I believe @Jackalope said coyote ken was from NJ...he was from NY...jerseys got enough problems!😂

He was wasn't he! 😂. Thanks.

I need to circle back and add to my two word comment I made above now that I have time. I absolutely enjoyed watching you both on the pod cast. I found myself either nodding or, for much of the cast, smiling at the discussion you both offered. Knowing you both the way I do from outings, this forum and a few personal conversations, I felt like a proud father... (even though you both defiantly had different mothers. lol) You came off comfortable with the presentation as well as professional. Having been here for most of it, I can say its all true. This merry band of brothers offers something for everyone. I only hope more people can seek you out and stay around long enough to find friendship's in The Ohio Outdoors as I have.

Congratulations on a great opening salvo.

I listened yesterday while driving home from PA. Great job Joe and Jesse. I'm intrigued to see how you keep it going and build upon the success you've found in making this place.

I wanted to thank you both for the work put into planning, design, building and maintaining both the camaraderie and the technology assembled into the TheOhioOutdoors.com forum. I've been on different 'outdoors' forums, mostly saltwater fishing, for just about 20 years and this is a absolutely 1st class opertaion.

You balance ease of use(adding multimedia search etc) with down home brotherly love nudges ... and noogies when required - keeping most folks lined up to share both success and failure, with the outcome as stated many times over in the podcast, to share outdoor lore. I've found your site to be a excellent and most welcomed alternative to the poisonous ideology promoted across most of Social Media.

Well Done sir's!

Best Regards,

I forgot to share a story about @Jackalope that was discussed during this podcast.

So when Jesse and joe setup the cell camera partnership for a bit, I had just got a new property to hunt and wanted new cameras. I PayPaled Joe for 3+ cameras, about a week later, Joe messages me and says “hey Albert, I can’t take the money man these cameras aren’t working well” - he sent me the money back via PayPal. Joe easily could have had me get the cameras and take my chances with them but he cared enough about a TOO member, that he wasn’t going to hang a guy out to dry.

Speaks volumes about the quality of folks running this forum.

happy I could share that story - a good memory.

Excellent introduction to TOO. Here is a weird thought: there could be an entire podcast about how TOO members met in person for the first time. Also, explaining to your wife what you are doing.

Examples: I met Jesse pre-TOO. At the Deer and Turkey Expo. March. Layer season. He sees the Hicks Lawn Services sweatshirt and says "where's my shirt?" I pull off the sweatshirt, pull off a long sleeves t-shirt and give to him. (Still had another t-shirt under that one.)

How I met Joe? He showed up at my house in June 2011. I hopped in his truck. We drove to the airport. Flew to Gulfport, MS. Bought a truck. Drove it back to Ohio.

CJD- I drove 4.5hrs to a funeral. Met him and his brother and mother. They were about to exit the funeral home. We chatted 5min and I drove back home.

I can't be the only one with first meetings of TOOzers which were . . . Less than "normal" meetings. This goes to show the brotherhood developed on the forum. I'm not meeting a random Twitter or FB person that way. They aren't making a FB friends list unless I've already met them.

Well done fellas. You knocked it out of the park!
