I'm like Chad. I just do what I want (within reason) and deal with the ramifications later. I love my wife dearly. There are situations I will not win no matter what happens. I have learned to accept this. To answer your question: You are not alone Ryan.

This is my typical approach as well.

Pace your self's boys... They will do it for the rest of your married lives.

I've been married for 30 years, my wife says I have selective hearing lol. I've learned to pick my battles but I'm pretty lucky, she never says a word about me hunting or any other shenanigans I find myself getting into

But yes we do have selected hearing that's for sure.
I am sure we have all heard...Did you hear a thing i just said...Uh huh i respond, Well what did i just say? Ah shit.

My wife is wore down after years of my shenanigans as well... First 5-6 years she complained about the number of days on stand, but never complained about the venison on the table lol.... Pass the taters please....
