It is official, sorta

For his sake I hope he's got someone behind him too steer him in a good direction.... Things can go squirrelly in a hurry when you put yourself out like that....
 
my buddy from tennesse says there still questioning this guy about how he shot it and saying he shot around some houses and towards a road. i was also told that the kid that killed that big typical in morrow county had it taken away from him for not having written permission. but the land owner told the odnr if they didnt give it back he would sue them for taking the deer. everyone of us wants to kill a record buck but it honestly seems like way more headache than what its worth.

Everyone is going to talk shit when I monster is killed, we've all seen it. It'll take time to weed all that out.

My buddy said you and your buddy are full of shit. If they had something on him, they wouldn't all be posing for pictures and talking records. Geez...congrats to that young man on something really special.

I'd hate too be that guy... Too kill a true monster of a buck and then listen too everyone talk shit about you like you're a criminal until proven innocent....

Is it just me, or does the Beatty Buck still not seem more impressive?

For what it's worth, I don't want anything to do with shooting a world record. What a headache.
 
I wasn't bashing the guy at all I just think it's crazy how everyone always comes up with something to drag the hunter down. I seen so many people calling this deer poached and high fence it was sickning. But like said before it happens to everyone that kills a big deer and it's worse since everything gets posted on social media.
