Great story! I was nervous for you and I knew the ending to the story lol that's awesome that guy didn't swipe your buck. There are some hunters out there that would unfortunately climb down and claim their "prize".
 
AWESOME!!! Those two guys that told the landowner about that deer would be getting a couple jugs for christmas from me lol!!!! Great job!!!
 
Wow, incredible deer and what a story!! Thank goodness your neighbor and the hunters are what I would call honorable hunters too!! Buck of a lifetime right there!!

Another great read on TOO. Congrats with a succesfull hunt. A beautiful stud of a buck.
I may be a little naive, but I want to think that most hunters would do exactly what the two hunters did and help you recover your buck.

My oh my.... what a great story & then I gasped when the pics scrolled up. I wasn't expecting that, he's VERY impressive. Like everyone else, I TOO was thinking how great those other hunters turned out to be. Hopefully you made some new friends. Just the same, that's what I enjoy about this forum ... our fellowship here is that we can truly be proud for the others & their accomplishments. This is one of the many instances that exemplifies that. Congrats to your hard work & reward Seth !

I am going to lean towards Griz being correct here. Unfortunately, we usually only hear about the dirt bags who do disreputable crap. They stick out in our minds more vividly.
