it was sweet

killed a mature doe yesterday morning with my hickory shaft , and a head my son gave me that was 7,500 years old . just a lil sharpening and she was as good as new .

That is truly awsome Hoot. One of these days I want to meet up with you and see how it's all done. Make the bows, arrows, and heads and being able to kill something with it would be the ultimate goal of mine someday.
 
Congrats on a well placed shot on a tasty doe. Add the fact that you used true traditional gear makes it that much better.
