Japanese Beetle trap

The beetles are bad out here this year. I was out of the 'beetle bags', but still had some lure from last year. So I just set up a 5 gallon bucket with some water in it and hung the lure inside. Not a bad catch for the afternoon.
I know how stinky these can get so plan to just dump them in the storm sewer every night.

Geez! Not that bad here at my place this year. We put ahurting on them last year.

We've got 3 bag traps going and I'm changing the bags daily right now.

I hardly have any around. Strange.

Now if someone knows of a method for killing stink bugs like that I'm all ears. I get invaded every year around the time the beans get cut.
