down another rabbit hole I go. I gave up drinking massive amounts of coffee. Drinking 8-12cups a day was the norm. My guts are feeling better after a month free of large daily amounts. I still love love love coffee. I had a few espressos in Italy and feel like a morning or afternoon shot of coffee is the route I'm going to try vs drinking all day everyday . Flavored energy waters with caffeine has to be bad for your body and i don't want to get hooked on them. I've always liked coffee as strong as you can make it. My sister bought this little stove top coffee machine for my daughter that brews two or three cups. Cool little thing that'd do good camping or take on trips. It makes a strong cup, but I'm now

looking for a espresso machine to make the smooth soup like thickness I'm after. Down a rabbit hole looking for options of with anyone has one they could recommend.......

Thats pretty cool md, and holy chit you were putting it down with a full pot everyday lol.

We just used up the last of our Kcups yesterday, switched back to grounds and the dripper this AM. I'll miss the convenience, but the Cusininart was starting to make a mess on the Kcup side and this has to be healthier. Im sure we'll switch back as soon as school starts back up😆

This has been our go too for a while now. We subscribe and it’s delivered every 4 weeks.
We’ve been through a lot of different brands since we’ve been here. They offer free shipping over a certain $$ amount then after a few months they pull that offer. So far Charleston is hanging in there and push comes to shove we can get it locally, but more $ of course.

Are whole beans in bulk just a thing of the past? I don't get out much. As a kid a few of the grocery stores around had a huge selection of beans. I don't know of anywhere I can go to buy bulk beans anymore. School me please. Went to Meijer after getting my new grinder in September and there's very few whole bean options. I can't stand paying the middle man with a fancy label if I'm drinking the exact same thing I could grind myself for cheap. There's about as many new start up coffee sellers as craft beer brewers. There's a start up company that's doing pretty well a five miles from my house, how does a coffee bagging company exist in northwest Ohio other than a fancy label?

The coffee I posted charges the same price for beans as it does ground. Unfortunately they sell it by the 12oz bag vs the 1lb one.
