It was a heartbreaking and fun weekend last week. Thursday night my brother and buddy from tennesse went with me to a spot I was hunting a big one. I put them on the opposite side of the farm where that deer has never been on cam and guess what he showed up, both of them got shots off my buddy would of killed him but he hit a tree. And ended up just grazing the brisket. He walked to my brother after that and hit some scrapes and my brother shot him arrow looked good ended up calling in mad max and decided he was still alive. We'll we ended up re grouping and hunting the rest of the weekend and both of them were able to shoot good bucks on Sunday. Another long track job on my buddies liver shot but it did it's job. Now I'm hoping that buck they hit comes back on cam soon but I have my doubts on that.
