just asking for prayers

Thanks ya'll. Means alot. Here are the update...
Well........ No surgery today. The tumor is in the upper part of her stomach. The surgeon said he'll have to remove her stomach and some of her esophagus. The surgeon will have to work with the CT Dr (Chest Dr) to do it at Mercy FF. If they agree to do it together. If not they're said they'll move her down to U.C hospital. Then the oncologist came in and confirmed the size of the tumor however they don't know the dept of it or if it's has spread anywhere. He wants to do aggressive Chemo and shrink the tumor then do surgery. In mean time they want to so Endoscopy Ultrasound and Pet Scan. We're waiting on the Oncologist to come back, he was supposed to speak with the the Surgeon and Gastrointestinal Dr since it's alot going on. It will be a 9 month process, chemotherapy first then a break and then surgery then break then start back with chemotherapy through the IV and Chemotherapy pills

That's rough brother! All things are possible with God. Prayers up for your Mom and the family.

Thanks ya'll. She recently went thru the first chemo this past Thursday. Now waiting for surgery. Ill find out when she has to do that.

My mom seems to be doing good. She's had blood work, chemos, and going thru all that. Doctor is saying, if this continue for another month, she will be good to go for surgery. Which is a good news. Mom decided today to go ahead to have my stepdad to cut all her hair off. At some point it had to be done or eventually it would all fall off. I told her Im going to shave my head today as well so she wouldn't be alone. My BIL Dustin is supposed to I think. That's all for now until I get more update. Thanks for the prayers, ya'll. Good luck to ya'll at hunting and kick ass.

Nice to hear a good update. And wonderfully touching that you are shaving your head also.

Still praying.

You're a good man for shaving your head brother! Good stuff! :smiley_clap:

Wishing your mother the best. Having been through a cancer scare with my own mother, I know how it can be. Hang tough and be her rock!

Sorry to hear your mom is going through this. The cancer battle is such a roller coaster ride. My mom is 76 and has kicked it's ass twice (kidney in 1991 and lung that spread from the kidney 3 years ago).

Moms are good fighters. She will beat this!
