man, I dislike gun season more and more every year.

I was in line to get another tag at Walmart and a guy who was getting his license and tag wanted some slugs. He didn't even know what kind he shot out of his shotgun. That was at 2pm. He probably didn't even go sight it in. I was bullchitting with the guy in front of me and he said "man its scary to see some of these people that are going to be carrying guns into the woods, most of them haven't stepped foot off asphalt yet". I said yes it is.

I'll be carrying a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Mag. 9 1/2" barrel with a red dot sight, shooting a 240gr. Hard Cast SWC. It's dead on at 50 yards and 1" groups. I've never killed a deer with a handgun, so IF I get one this year, it will be my first. I can't wait!!! :smiley_asswhip:

Good luck! I'm heading to my aunts on Thursday with my shotgun and revolver. If I get lucky like last year I'll have my first handgun kill as well! I had a dozen deer stop 15yards in front of me, I hope they do it again!

Not talking down to you. Just want to let you know it is one weapon at a time. I am sure you knew this. Just hate to see one of our TOO members get busted. WO doesn't generally accept "I didn't know that" as a valid excuse. Lol
