Well I took all my beaver sets out. I go back to work tomorrow. I am going to go to a new spot on the river Thursday and have a look. Might set a couple 330s and a drowner or two..... I believe there might be an otter swimming around down there. An otter would be the ultimate cap to this season. So we will see. I am not real optimistic..... but we will see. There had been some beavers there.... so we will see.

I've had my yote sets out for a week today...... not none has been touched. No tracks in the mud..... no howling at night. For some reason the yotes just are not there rt now. Which is good I guess. But I wanted to catch a few.... I've never had traps in there that long that were not at least worked by this time. Kinda crazy

Just scored a bad ass beaver property rt in my back yard basicly...... kinda hoping this thaw out happens this weekend. Could help boost my beaver count substantially.

Well, you killed 15 of those bastards with your bow LOL.

Got two new beaver catchers..... I think these are scarier than the 330s

Yea that will hold one Zach. What did that one cost?
Damn traps are expensive anymore .i remember when we used to get a dozen traps for the price of 3 or 4 now.
But that was back in the early 80s. Lol

Those are bridger #5s beaver speacials. They are $30 a piece. I needed a couple for a river I'm going to trap... and ingot a cabelas gift card so I bought em. They are mean mofos.......

Had a decent day. Had a 53lb wood chipper and a big male yote...... so I guess there was one left on that property. But I'm sure they're more.
