Well going and setting my traps after midnight paid off.

Bout a 50lber.
my other two traps were empty. The ice is making it difficult. But.I'm happy with my first two beavers
The ice is really nasty
But hopefully I can sang a few more tomorrow. We will see.

Good Job Kaiser!

Don, fair warning, beaver trapping is addicting like coyote snaring. Pulling a 30 to 50# animal out of the water is AWESOME! It's one of my favorite targets for trapping.

1 more 25lb beaver.today.

4 beaver
34 rats
16 coon
2 coyote
1 mink
6 grinners
5 house cats
1 dog
1 red squirrel[/QUOTE]

I'm somewhat limited on my placement for traps. The ponds hhave been really froze over. Although yesterday I found a new bank den by following tthe bubble trail from one den to the feed bed.to this den. So I broke the ice.and shoved my foot.under the bank and found it. So I shoved a 330 in there and had one this morning. I'm not gonna lie. Those 330s scare the shit out of me. Especially when I can't see where I'm putting my hands under the water.

Yeah you better respect them and use those safety locks. I use them on ground hogs and they are wicked

With this warm snap I threw a DP under a culvert / bridge that's been my top producing spot this year for coon. This is my 7th coon from this one spot

Darn you Zach! Now you got me wanting to take Braydon Beaver Trapping! It's fun to feel weight on the drowning wire and not know what size beaver will come out! Priceless memories right there!

and one more 25lb beaver.today and snared a nice boar coon in a pinch between a waterfall and a tree.

Love walking up to sets and seeing this.
