Just keep taking it easy Zach and not over do it till your stronger and this bug is gone. Don't need a set back cuz you've got yotes to kill! Hope your back to normal very soon!
Well I couldnt take it any more. I broke out today. BEfore I got sick I shot a doe and through the ribcage out in a thicket... Well I visited it today and noticed I have a lot of visitors. The trails are not as defined as I would like....but I went ahead and hung some snares a ways off the carcass... It was eaten up quite a bit so I through a beaver carcass I saved in there also... I also put one leg hold off aways from where they are coming from. we will see.

Did a little.scouting.today. I found a ton of fresh mink sign where I caught.the big buck 2 weeks ago. I put 12 connibears out. I put a connibear on every freaking trail o.could find and every open water spot. Haha
Plus did 6 coyote sets today

Reset the property I caught the dogs on last week. I saw tons of coyote tracks down there on the roads.... One road was really being used a lot....I saw where there must have been a pack of 4 running together..... so I put 3 traps on that one road within 150 yards of one another.... I have 4 more traps to put out tomorrow... I just didnt have time today with how froze the ground was... A couple traps it took me close to 30 minutes to get the bed dug and the trap seated how i wanted it... I refuse to do it half assed, and if the trap moves even the least little bit I am not happy with it...Im there to catch coyotes, and if it isnt bedded perfect I have zero confidence in the sets.. I guess I am a little anal... my goal is to catch 3 more down there this week....

You got your priorities right bud. I am the same way with my trap beds. They gotta be like a rock or they aren't done. Good luck. Sounds like an awesome spot.
