Kalamazoo Traditional Archers Expo

Mark your calendars for January 30th, 31st and February 1st, to attend the Traditional Archers Expo.
* Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds, 2900 Lake Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
I've been there several years in a row and it's a great event to attend. Lots of bows to shoot at their indoor range, plenty of traditional gear and seminars. I met Fred Asbel there, several years ago and also met Gene and Barry Wensel.

It's almost a 3 hour trip for me, but well worth it. :cool:💯

I jumped down the rabbit hole lol. Never took the crossbow out once and didn’t shoot my longbow enough to justify going but I’ll be ready for next season. Daughter got me a nice fletching jig for Christmas so now I’m building arrows. Started bow hunting with a Bear grizzly back in the 80’s then through the years went to compound bows then a crossbow now I’m back to stick and string. I love it!

@GoetzTalon
I was going to offer you a ride along, but Walbridge is a little closer than Lima. So, I guess I'll look for you there. :cool:
One of the guys that is on Trad Talk, was wanting to go and he lives long the Ohio River. I told him if he wanted to drive this far, he could ride with me, but he's not sure about the travel time and making it back, etc. :unsure: All I can do is make the offer, after that he's on his own. :)

I'd like to be on the road by 6:30ish, which would put me there around 9:15 or so.
I've only had to cancel my travel plans due to weather conditions, once, in the last 6 or 7 times that I've been there. Lake Michigan can be brutal for that area, this time of the year. :cautious:
