Anyone been there? I’ve got two kids, 4 and 15 months old. Looking for a good day trip adventure with the family. Thanks fellas.

A day at an amusement park with the family...how bad could it be? I’m sure the kids will have fun! Do they have a picnic area so you can pack a lunch? Not only does that save you money, but if you have a puker...a lunchmeat sammach is better then a $10 slice of nasty pizza.

I’m not sure if there’s a picnic area, I read on the website that most of the rides require the kids to be at least 42” tall, I’ll be measuring my kid tonight. It’s down by Pittsburgh so it would be a fun trip nonetheless.

I’ve been to Kennywood about 12 times in my life. Maybe more. It’s only an hour from me. It’s gone downhill in recent years, but it’s still good for little ones.
For those of you who are looking for good coasters, this place has a couple, but nothing like cedar point or Kings island.

They did put up a new coaster this summer called the Steel Curtain (named after the famous Steeler defense of the 70’s). It’s looks awesome, but haven’t been there yet this summer for it. Looks comparable to the Magnum on video.
