Killing/Tagging more than 1 deer/day?

According to the ODNR regulations, we are legally allowed to kill more than 1 deer per day.
However, I've read the regulation booklet and can NOT find it to say whether the first deer has to be tagged, before the second one can be killed/shot.

Basically, if I have 2 deer in front of me, I shoot 1 and the other one is still available for a shot.... Can I shoot that one too and then go a tag both? Or do I have to tag the first deer, before shooting a second one?

Thank you, Bowhunter57

No plug required but still a maximum of 3 rounds allowed.

If I’m not mistaken, that rule became obsolete once they got rid of the requirement to Temp Tag a carcass. I believe you’re allowed to shoot multiple deer without tagging the first one now.
Correct. That is what "my memory" thought as well. Don't rely on my memory though. Just have to have two tags.

On a side note. Who here has downloaded the APP? Pretty sweet as you can report without even having service at the time. Nice for us that sometimes want to pack a deer out.

how the heck does it work with no service? My camp has zero serivice.
