Lake Erie Charter fishing

Had 2 trips Friday and Saturday with long time customers from Southern Indiana/Cincinnati area. Had to delay Friday until noon. Worked all day to figure out a program that finally worked. Put 35 in the box including 2 fish ohios, a 28 and a 30 incher that came simultaneously! Mallorys custom painted crankbaits caught a bunch of these fish! Our first trip out running them.

Saturday we ran an entirely different spoon program and pulled 30 fish in alot closer to shore.

Got a little update for this week. Had a group of 8 guys from Wisconsin this week. We ran 2 boats. Had shitty weather 2 of the 3 days but we still fished. Ended up getting all their fish for the 3 day limit. Here are a few pics.

30 more this morning. Finally some stable weather. Only the 2nd Saturday this season that has been nice.

Saturday I ran a boat for the nettin with Vets charity event. I had 4 veterans on board. We got their limit of fish plus a couple of Mallorys. I believe there was around 86 boats that fished. Here are a few pics.

Ran a 2 man trip with a couple of Brocks friends yesterday afternoon in the heat. They wanted to cast for the fish, so we casted for about 4 hours and boated 8 fish. They decided to try trolling so I threw out the trolling gear and in less than 1 hour we had the remaining 10 fish in the cooler.

I think you are taking them out today? If so, hopefully they will want to skip the hot sit and wait thing and get right into cranking in meat.

Yes. Left the dock at 230. Back in at 430 with 30 fish. Took another couple from the campground to help out. Was a great bite again.

Ran a 6 man trip Saturday afternoon. Had been hearing sketchy reports all last week due to the spike in water temp on the western basin. Was wondering if we could get them to bite or if they had migrated east for deeper water. We put out a combination of our regular stinger spoons along with a trial run of Mallorys custom creation stinger spoons and WOW! Her spoons did absolutely amazing. We had a boat limit before noon. Plenty of nice walleye still in the western basin and the water quality looked fantastic out there. Don't let anyone tell you different.

Walked the beach yesterday and thought the water looked awesome for this time of year.
