Never a problem, have never not bought a license or used a landowner permit. But with 8.5acres and paying taxes on that dirt, I will be sure to understand my options and exercise where I see fit.
Talked to Erie County's officer today, she confirmed where the deer was shot, as long as an additional kill shot is not needed off the landowners property. She answered on the 2nd ring, was very polite and clear with the law
