does anyone know anything about an older leupold vari-x II 3-9 scope ?

What do you want to know? VX-II is older, they've been replaced by VX-2. They're decent scopes, leupold's midrange in quality and price.

Didn't know if they are worth much I've read people had them on rifles for 20 yrs and hold a zero well it's covered under letup olds lifetime warranty

A good used VX-II is probably worth around $250.

Awesome made in the USA scope. I have a Vari-x lll that i got back in the early 90's and it is a great scope. Leupold is lifetime warrany so no worrys.

I have VX-2 3-9 x 33 rimfire EFR(adjustable objective) with fine duplex reticle on my squirrel rifle. best scope I've ever owned. also the most expensive.

I have a Vari-X ll 4x12x50 and its one fine shooting scope, I have it mounted on my Ruger model 77 .243

I've bought used Leupold scopes at the gunshow for 28 yrs. Never a worry. Still using some of them. I had a used pistol scope on a pistol and the inner parts fell apart. Sent it back to Leupold and recieved it back good as new and still working today after 20 yrs.
