Those of you toledo guys will know. But I grew up down by the tracks on Cherry Street. Those lunchboxes got broken weekly over other kids heads. I did not fit in well in that neighborhood and wasn't aloud outside after dark. From kindergarten until the middle of the second grade I had to use that thermas you guys speck of to get home when the bell rang. Not every day, but at least once a week. Not a good memory when see them.

I had Gomer for 2nd grade in '67. I remember walking home from school at lunchtime for some reason I had the thermos in my hand & tossed it over the clothes line in our backyard & dropped it & broke, still had milk in it. A few years later, I had the Peanuts lunch box. That thermos survived & I remembered taking it along on opening day of the 1983 gun season. I can remember all that, yet can't remember where I put my glasses down.....smh.
