Lil' help with ID - tick body in antler?

So, cleaning up my buck to do my skull cap mount and came across this boney knot. It is the exact size and shape of a engorged tick. Wondering if anyone has come across similar protuberance of bone that seems like it could be a calcified tick body.

As you can see it's almost clear, not like the other bone. Its probably just a peice of bone but feels cool.

Looks like just another burr to me, maybe got shined up from rubbing. Although a velvet antler seems like a great place for a tick, I don’t think the tick would calcify. Maybe the head would be embedded, but not the body?
